A Perfect Vision
There’s something magical about fall in Massachusetts—the crisp air, golden foliage, and soft sunlight that makes everything glow. Armina and Amel envisioned a romantic wedding photoshoot surrounded by art, architecture, and timeless elegance. And truly, it could not have been more perfect.
When Armina reached out, she explained that their wedding day had been a whirlwind, and she didn’t have the chance to book a photographer. Instead, she wanted to plan a session afterward to commemorate their love in a way that felt intentional and true to their style. She came prepared with the most stunning Pinterest board and even a TikTok that captured her vision—grand staircases, marble columns, and soft, moody interiors. The moment I saw her inspiration, I knew the Worcester Art Museum was the perfect backdrop.
Shooting at the Worcester Art Museum
We planned the session for a couple of hours before closing time, hoping for a quieter atmosphere. To photograph inside, we simply signed a form, paid regular admission, and began exploring the museum together. (It's important to note that for any kind of photoshoot in a setting like this to always be respectful to the other visitors at the museum!!)
We started in the grand atrium, making use of the dramatic staircase and striking columns before moving into the galleries. The museum’s varied rooms filled with incredible works of art, allowed us to create images that felt cinematic, yet intimate.
We got very lucky in terms of the crowd levels this day at the museum, as one of my favorite parts of the day was seeing how strangers in the museum reacted to us by smiling and congratulating the gorgeous couple.
Romantic Posing & Styling
When it comes to creating a photoshoot that feels like your vision, preparation is everything. Armina and I talked beforehand about her outfit options, narrowing down to a gorgeous lace gown that brought the romantic feel she wanted to life.
I also prepped by saving poses from her Pinterest board and TikTok to keep on hand during the shoot. With my phone clipped to my camera, we could easily reference them as we went. From elegant shots in the atrium to playful moments walking through the galleries, every pose was perfect.
The best part? Armina and Amel’s love for one another made posing effortless. Their natural chemistry and understanding of the overall vision made the whole session a breeze.
Final Thoughts
